A bit late but I am entering this for this weeks Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge the theme being make a christmas card. I keep trying to make christmas cards as often as I can so I don't have too many to do at the last minute. I have kept this fairly plain as I think the image and sentiment speak for themselves. Sometimes I think too many embellishments can cause a distraction. I have used one of my Little Gem Christmas designs which will be available in the Spiral Whisper October 1st releases. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Clear Set and because I love it so much I designed this stamp to go with it. Gem has a little snowflake perched on the end of her nose like a little butterfly. This would not happen in reality because she loves eating snow lol. Gem has been coloured using Copic Ciao Markers and stickles glitterglue to highlight the snow. CS is bazill bling and some nice soft blue chiffon ribbon by Celebrate.X

I have made this card following this weeks Sketch Saturday Jo who started this sketch challenge is now working on a new blog design for me as we speak, I can't wait! so pop back for a look at my new look blog which should be happening very soon! Right back to my card lol I have used my Pirate Milly stamp design available from Spiral Whisper and the parrot from the pirate accessories set. Milly has been coloured with distress inks and the papers are Pink Petticoat. X

I am very pleased to have a new craft room! It beats carrying boxes of equipment to the kitchen table and then having to put it all away again lol. It's great having the computer in the same room where I am working too as I can now see the sketch challenges I am following. Before I would scribble the sketch on scrap paper or print it out to take downstairs to the kitchen. X
