Midway Reminder - Little Jada!

A Little Midway Reminder for A Gem of a Challenge
The theme has been set by Donna M which is 'Lilac, Lemon, 2 Butterflies and a Bow'
So why not  pop over and give it a go!

Does anyone else have problems with photos uploading sideways on?
Blogger been driving me mad this morning.....
Anyway here is my take on the challenge

I layered  the black and white png file of 'Jada with Braids' over some Lemon 'Corregated Effect' paper and printed them out.
This meant I had the image to colour but the lemon background neatly behind her.....and all ready to cut out with my Nesties A2 Matting Basics A
I coloured Jada with Copics
I cut a scallop circle piece of card with my Grand Nestabilities and made a smaller square card to sit behind this....the scallop now being my card front.
I cut another smaller circle using Grand Nestabilities from 'Distressed Stripes'
I layered the png file for 'Happy Cake Day' over some Lemon 'Micro Dots' paper and printed them out....as you can see the image is transparent apart from the cake which stays white giving it a nice effect :)
I then cut out the sentiment using Nestabilities 'Standard Circles'
I arranged the image and sentiment onto the front of the card using foam pads....and placed a square doily behind them
I added 'Exotic Butterlies' by Cheery Lynn....these are lovely to use and come out of the dies easily!
.....a 'Creative Page Tab', a little flower shape made with 'Floral Doily Motifs'......some adesive pearls and the little bow came from my stash :)
I went around the frame of the image and sentiment with my glue pen and threw on the glamour dust making it all nice and sparkly but it doesn't show up well in the photo....I also added glamour dust to Jada's hair ornaments  and the owl on her jumper
