Merry Christmas Everyone!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Here's me at the German Christmas Market in Birmingham yesterday
It had just passed  11.13am  so I had a cup of mulled wine to celebrate that the World had not come to an end lol
Mulled wine is great for colds too.....beats the Lemsip :)
Well must crack on with more cleaning and present wrapping ;)

Two More Christmas Cards

These are my last two Christmas cards....no ink or stamps insight.
Glad I made these yesterday and got them in the post as I have started with an awful cold virus today.
That's what you get from visiting little grand kiddies this time of year lol.
Forced myself into cleaning today but still lots to do and I really don't feel up to it just now.
I will be annoyed if the world ends tomorrow after all that cleaning lol.
If we are still here tomorrow we have arranged to go to the German Christmas Market in Birmingham and we are  meeting our daughter and her partner....so I hope I feel better than I do today.
Anyway enough of the festive moans...and on to my cards....very simple creations

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Well the weather isn't too bad is it......cold but nice and clear in sunny Worcestershire at the moment
A lot better than what was forecast a few days ago with the expected arrival of the 'Beast from the East'....lets hope it continues to stay in the East. Looks like a bracing wind down the east coast though....hope you are staying nice and warm Christine AKA Nanaseaside
We spent the weekend putting up the lights outside and getting the tree up like most people.....our street is now a blaze of white lights....gorgeous!
Just thought I would post a few piccies of our effort :)

Early Christmas Present

Santa Claus came early and left me this Epson Stylus Photo R2000 A3 printer in my craft room!
I have nick named it 'the beast' as it is massive compared to my Epson  SX453W lol
I was dissapointed last year when my old Epson printer died and we bought the SX453W which was offer at Sainsbury at the time. It just won't take anything thicker than Rymans Smooth Card at 200gsm. My other printer wasn't too keen mind but I used to force it to have it....that's what probably wore the rollers out lol. Anyway I have been moaning about not being able to print my papers on linen card ever since so hubby went online and did some research and thought this printer would be a good bet as it is built to take thick  art paper......and Epson ink is great for digis when it comes to colouring with alcohol markers and water colouring as it doesn't run.
Just getting used to using it now and the verdict is I love it!

For the Neighbours

Morning to everyone on the gorgeous cold and Crisp December day!
I am getting in a Christmassy mood making cards and singing along to Christmas music.
I have not got much time for colouring (sooooo behind with my cards) so I have used my 'Christmas Owls' clip art set from here. These are great for big cards as you can make them whatever size you like...this is an 8"x8" card. I have made a little background scene and added the snowflakes from the set
Every year my Mum asks me if I will make a card for their next door neighbours so my first card is for them.
I have used the blank frame from the 'Vintage Christmas Sentiments (black)' from here and added their names. These also come in a variety of ready printed Christmas phrases and are so easy to cut around using a pair of scissors
Mistletoe downloadable papers from here
The dies are Marianne Creatbles Mistletoe here and Cheery Lynn Snowflake 5 Here
Kraft, ribbon and brad from stash
.....well must dash as I am going to the hairdressers but will catch you later this week hopefully with more of my cards :)
